Sarah Beistel, Development Intern

Sarah Beistel serves as MDRI’s development intern for spring 2008. She assists in seeking new grant opportunities, as well as assisting in other development tasks. She is a junior, Political Science major at American University’s School of Public Affairs in Washington D.C. Originally, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Sarah is passionate about MDRI’s work due to her own experiences working with autistic children and travel abroad to Guatemala, Spain and Turkey. She hopes to go to graduate school and pursue a career in public administration.
