Eric Mathews serves as a development associate for Mental Disability Rights International. Prior to joining MDRI, Mr. Mathews worked as the Communications Director and Deputy Finance Director for a U.S. Congressional campaign in Georgia. He is passionate about advocating for human rights for people who do not have a voice of their own, and is happy to have that opportunity at MDRI. Mr. Mathews works to cultivate meaningful relationships with MDRI’s network of donors and supporters and to identify new resources for the organization. Mr. Mathews earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Piedmont College and his future plans include attending law school to study International Human Rights Law.
