, Development Intern
Dorothy White is the 2008 summer development intern for MDRI. She is a senior at Elon University, majoring in International Studies with the intention of pursuing a graduate degree in international public health. She will be helping MDRI staff members with grant writing as well as assisting on other development initiatives. She first became interested in mental disability rights during a study abroad trip which allowed her to visit orphanages and mental institutions in several developing countries.
